But our vision extends beyond the services we provide.

Cybersecurity is often discussed through the language of technology  systems, networks, endpoints, vulnerabilities and threats.

Technology is important. But organisations are built and operated by people.

People make decisions. People establish trust. People follow processes, challenge them, adapt to them and sometimes work around them. Understanding those behaviours can be just as important to security as understanding the technology itself.

Our interest in human behaviour shapes the way we think about cybersecurity.

We want to understand not only what is happening within an environment, but why it is happening.

1. Why do people make certain decisions?
   2. Why do they trust certain information?
   3. Why do security controls succeed in one environment and fail in another?
   4. How do culture, communication and behaviour influence risk?

For us, good security begins with asking better questions.

The cybersecurity industry needs experienced professionals, but it also needs people who are given the opportunity to become those professionals.

We want to be part of that process.

Our vision is to build an organisation where people can enter the industry, develop practical capability, learn from experienced professionals and grow into specialists and consultants in their own right.

That means creating opportunities for learning, mentorship, practical exposure and professional development not simply filling positions.

Where we need specialist expertise, we are willing to work with highly capable external consultants and professionals who can bring the right experience to a particular challenge.

At the same time, we are deliberately building our own internal capability.

Our goal is not simply to source expertise. It is to build it.

Cybersecurity has historically been shaped by a workforce that has not always reflected the diversity of the people and organisations it protects.

We want to contribute to changing that.

We believe Black professionals, women, young South Africans and people from different backgrounds should have opportunities to enter the industry, develop their expertise and participate meaningfully in the future of cybersecurity.

For women in particular, entering a technical industry can sometimes mean entering spaces where they are underrepresented.

We want to create an environment where women don't simply have a place at the table they have the opportunity to develop the expertise, confidence and experience to lead. Our commitment to inclusion is therefore connected to our commitment to development.

We want to help create people who can eventually create opportunities for others.

We believe there is significant talent and potential within the country, and we want to contribute to developing that capability rather than simply looking elsewhere for expertise

Building a strong local cybersecurity industry requires more than employing people.

It requires knowledge-sharing, practical experience, mentorship, exposure to real challenges and opportunities for people to grow.
